LOCAL SPORTS

WEEKDAYS:  Multiple times during the MORNING REPORT and also in the Midday Report.  

Up-to-date LOCAL SPORTS reports are broadcast each weekday on WASR.  We are pleased to have Josh Spalding, sports editor of Salmon Press newspapers, providing daily LOCAL SPORTS updates Monday through Friday.   LOCAL SPORTS reports are part of WASR's award winning MORNING REPORT and our Midday Report.  

Josh covers  a wide variety of organized team sports with particpants of all ages, sports from local clubs, high school sports, area games and races, as well as activities of the parks and recreation departments in our area.  Josh is a true sports enthusiast and enjoys seeing what he does bring excitement and recognition to the young athletes in our area.  

Josh's LOCAL SPORTS reports on WASR will keep you updated all week.  On Thursdays...you can pick up a copy of your favorite Salmon Press newspapers for in-depth coverage.
